Overview of the Training:
Over the past twenty years or so, the evolution of project management has grown significantly and Project Management Institute (PMI®) has established its dominance to make project management as distinct career path around the globe. Project management standards that PMI® created and updated by both volunteer teams and the general public are widely accepted. And this very training course is primarily based on the Project Management Institute's (PMI®) "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, Fourth Edition" (PMBOK® Guide). PMBOK® offers guidelines, rules and characteristics for project management. Brief Profile of the Resource Person
Mr. Mohammad Rahman, MBA, PMP, PgMP has been working for different projects and programs for years. He is now working as General Manager at NEC Corporation Dhaka Branch. Before NEC, he worked in Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited as Account Manager and in ZTE Corporation (Bangladesh) Limited as Marketing Manager/Pre-Sales Engineer. Mr. Rahman has versatile experiences with different multi-cultural and multi-dimensional projects and programs. As a management professional, he also has the rare opportunity to see the insights of different projects/programs and their impacts on different business operations including but not limited to sales, marketing, strategy, commercial, etc. arena. Academically, Mr. Rahman took Engineering degree [B.Sc in (Engg.)] from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and Business degree (MBA in Marketing) from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka University. With a passion on project and program management, he earned his PMP credential in 2009 and PgMP credential in 2012 (He is the first PgMP in Bangladesh).
